Data controller

The association STAND (Student Tech Alliance for New Defence), CVR 46832043, is the data controller for the data we process about you. You can always contact us at contact@stand-network.com.

What we process

When you subscribe to the newsletter, we process your email address, your study level and your field. When you apply to join the team (as a member of the association), we process your name, your email address, your university and programme if you provide them, and what you write about your motivation.

Purpose and legal basis

We use your email address to send you the newsletter, and your study level and field to see which students we reach. The basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing. We use the information in an application to assess and answer it and, if you become a member, to manage your membership.

Who we share data with

We never sell your data. We use external services to send the newsletter and store applications. They only process the data on our behalf and on our instructions.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Applications that do not lead to membership are deleted once they have been processed. Member data is kept for as long as the membership lasts.

Cookies

The website does not use cookies for statistics or marketing. We count visits anonymously with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and cannot tell who you are. It shows us, for example, which pages are read and whether visitors come from LinkedIn or a search.

Your rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to the processing and withdraw your consent. Write to contact@stand-network.com. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
